The Pallant House Gallery is one of Britain’s most distinctive modern art museums. Its world-class collection tells the story of Modern British art from 1900 to now, held within the unique setting of a Grade I listed 18th century townhouse and a 21st century contemporary extension.

The Pallant House Gallery’s collection traces the history of Modern British art and each group of works has been formed by different collectors who all had different impulses and interests. These collections each have their own character, revealing different stories and insights into not just Modern British art but Britain as a whole.
